A macOS app that lives in your notch and turns the references you collect into a real design system. Drag in images, it extracts the palette and writes a direction, then exports design-tokens.json and design-brief.md — so when you start building, your coding agent has a theme to work from instead of a blank page.
Two plain files. design-tokens.json holds your colour ramps, semantic slots, gradients, type, spacing and radius scales. design-brief.md is the readable version: the direction, the palette rationale, elevation notes and your do's and don'ts. Both are generic — no proprietary format, nothing to lock you in.
macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon. The on-device model needs Apple Intelligence, which is why those are hard requirements rather than recommendations. A notch is the nicest way to use it, but the app works on any display — and if the model isn't available, Descon falls back to describing what it detected rather than doing nothing.
No, and no. There's no sign-in, ever. Your projects are ordinary folders on your disk, and the AI runs entirely on your Mac through Apple's Foundation Models. Nothing you drag in leaves your machine. The only time Descon goes online is the once, to redeem your invite code.
It's free for the first hundred designers, and that's the whole plan for now. Descon will be paid eventually — it's a one-time purchase, not a subscription — but pricing comes after the app has earned it, and the founding group will be looked after when it does.

Nothing. Your projects are folders on your disk and they stay exactly where they are, readable by anything. Descon would stop generating new themes and exports, but everything you've already made — including files you've exported — remains yours and untouched.
